Beekman is awesome because when they showed up the first time I didn’t know I needed a different fan down rod. The electricians were very helpful. Once I received the fan down rod, I called them to schedule the installation. The electricians were courteous and were mindful of my family room furniture. This was my second (maybe third) time using Beekman Electric, and every experience has been top-notch. The first job they did for me was installing LED recessed lighting in a room that had no built-in lighting at all—just a wall switch that controlled a plug. They ran the wiring, installed the lights, and the transformation was incredible. The room feels brighter, more open, and so much more usable now.I was so happy with that work that I had them come back for another project: installing three Ring cameras and replacing a doorbell transformer in the attic. Jonathan and his apprentice showed up on time and went right to work. After inspection, he told me what he would need to install and said he would put together an estimate. After he left, not 15 minutes later, I had an estimate in my in-box! Shortly after I approved it, Beekman called and scheduled the installation for next week. Excellent, professional, and reasonable.
Beekman Electric is wonderful! a pleasure to work with. They replaced an old Federal Pacific fuse box, and installed a new circuit and plug in the laundry room. Their estimate was MUCH lower than others I received. They did an excellent job, they were extremely tidy, and very nice. I will be using them again to have lighting installed. This is the 3rd time Beekman has provided outstanding service. John and his apprentice John fixed the problem with a dead outlet caused by a tripped and hidden GFI outlet that fed it. Our garbage disposal unit had jammed and blown the GFI. Nice to know there are still people able to do a great job. Many thanks to both technicans.

The woman who called to set up the appointment was personable and conversational. I knew what the cost would be up front. Jonathan and his apprentice came out and got us going! We were just one pesky easy step from having fixed it ourselves. He didn't make us feel bad for having missed that step, and told us he's done it himself if he's in a hurry. While he was here, he fixed a couple of other pesky outlet issues. It was well worth the cost! They'll be back to reconfigure an outlet and install a replacement exterior light fixture too!

They are very reasonably priced, Rebecca’s customer service is outstanding, John and his helper/apprentice are not only knowledgeable, snd professional. My brother-in-law had used Beekman and been very pleased with the service. My experience was excellent. Beekman Electric responded immediately to my request for a quote to install my security camera. The owner came himself and was very friendly and courteous. The quote came via email as promised on the same day of the quote. I felt the quote was reasonable and proceeded to hire them. The two guys that came to do the install were also friendly and completed the job fairly quickly. I was happy with the service provided and would use them again.

I simply cannot say enough good things about this company! I got in a bind and hired someone else to install the roof vent fans and the amount they charged me was more than I care to admit. When I finally returned Mr. Beekman’s phone call and asked him to give me an estimate for some additional work. He came out on a Saturday and I could not believe his estimate. Project: Install a Ceiling Fan
I would absolutely recommend this company. The task was to remove, wrap each crystal, pack the chandelier and move to a new location. At the new house the requirement was to install in a room requiring cutting a hole in the ceiling, installing a bracket on the ceiling beams to hold the chandelier, installing wiring by adding new electrical wiring and installing a new wall switch. The task was performed flawlessly and the installers worked in tantrum with each other. The owner Mr. Beekman was professional, provided a fair and reasonable offer and the project was a huge success.

Tom Beekman came by to offer a free quote, and then John and Michael came to do the work. They installed 2 patio ceiling fans (one required a new connection so had to go thru attic and cut out hardy plank), one chandelier in kitchen, and replaced GFCI plugs in the garage. They also removed two old ceiling fans and discarded them. John and Michael did an excellent job, and cleaned up very nicely before they left. They were at my home for almost 5 hrs and I paid $800. I will hire them again!

John came with all the tools for the job to install 4 ceiling fans (1 in a room with a 20? ceiling). He even had his own weights to replace the crap ones that came in the box so my fans don?t wobble. I have vinyl plank floors and they took care to use a pad so their ladder/tools didn?t scratch my floors. They also packed up the boxes and cleaned up the mess. One half star deducted for them not covering/removing their boots and walking on my upstairs carpet but no real issues. Pleasant and professional. I will use them again.

They replaced our electrical box and updated the GFIs around the house. Tom (the owner) did NOT oversell. The price was excellent. About 1/3 less than the competitors which saved us over $2,000. Sean and Micheal did the work at our home. They arrived ahead of time which was wonderful. Very friendly & very efficient. They verified that everything was 100% complete before they left.
